Function & Structure
  • Linkage: It transfers the kinetic pull of your finger from the trigger to the internal fire control group.
  • Safety Disengagement: In many designs, a ramp or edge on the bar pushes up the firing pin safety block as the trigger is squeezed.
  • Cruciform / Connector Interface: At the rear, extensions like the cruciform interact with the connector and sear to manage the trigger break and reset.
